The Department of World Languages at the University of South Florida, Tampa, is seeking candidates for an appointment to a nine-month, full-time, visiting position with the possible extension for a second and/or third year to teach Spanish and Portuguese at the rank of Visiting Assistant Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction, effective August 07, 2024.

Requisitos

Minimum Qualifications:

MA from an accredited institution in Spanish or a related field of specialization.
native or near-native competence in Spanish and English
demonstrated success in teaching Spanish language courses
ability to teach first-year Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications:

experience teaching all levels of Spanish language courses plus cultural content courses
experience teaching Portuguese
experience with online instruction
